Jewyl Gibson
Dr. Jewyl Gibson is our Worship Ministry Director at Strong Tower Bible Church. Jewyl is an exceptional leader who loves to usher God’s people into His presence through song. Whether she utilizes hymns, contemporary choruses or spirituals, one thing is for sure, the congregation will experience spirit-filled worship that is done in humility, boldness, and excellence.
Jewyl also possesses the gift of teaching and she emphatically believes that the songs STBC sings should not only be biblical, but the people charged with leading the congregation in worship should know what the scriptures mean that inspired the songs in the first place. Every Thursday for rehearsal and every Sunday before service, the worship leaders and musicians sit under the teaching of the word of God. In addition, there is a high calling to personal integrity and godly character within the worship ministry.
It is this commitment to worshiping God in Spirit AND in truth that we believe honors our Father so that He will feel welcome to come into our sanctuary through His manifest presence to inhabit our praises every time we assemble.
