Ministry Trailer

DID YOU KNOW?

Strong Tower has converted a 20-foot trailer into a rolling ministry vehicle, including two dressing rooms… and it is stocked with middle school age-appropriate clothing, hygiene items, and school supplies.

This year we will be partnering with the administrations and staff of Paragon Mills Elementary School, Wright Middle School, and J.T. Moore Middle School, who hand-select students they deem to be in the most need of basic personal care.

Throughout the school year we will pull the trailer to each school and allow these students to “shop” in the trailer boutique.  We were able to serve many students and their families during the school year, at J.T. Moore and Wright, and we’re excited to see how many more students God allows us to minister to this year now that we’ll be serving a third school as well!

HOW DO WE STOCK THE TRAILER?

This is where you come in, and we have four ways you can help!

  1. We are always collecting age-appropriate items at the church and will periodically update you with a list of our current and ongoing needs.
  2. SAY NO TO GOODWILL — Any unwanted household items or clothing that is not appropriate for middle schoolers can be donated to Thriftsmart, who has partnered with us to provide $1 in Thriftsmart gift cards for every 10 pounds of donations that we collect!  We can then use these credits to purchase gently used items for the trailer. — Donations can be placed in the Thriftsmart bin located in the STBC back parking lot.
  3. Donate funds to support the ministry trailer through our Outreach LinkClick Here To Donate To The Ministry Trailer  100% of your donation will be used to purchase items for the ministry trailer.
  4. Monetary Donations can be placed in the offering baskets.  (Please be sure to write “Ministry Trailer” on the memo line of your check!)
