Water Baptism is an ordinance of the local church that communicates to those who are watching that the person being baptized is a born-again Christian and is publically identifying with Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:4).
STBC teaches and practices believer's baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Once a child, teenager, or an adult is able to articulate their saving relationship with Jesus, that person will be baptized in a worship service.
